What Does Success Mean To You?

What does success mean to you? If you asked each of our distributors this question you would get many different answers.  Success is what YOU want it to be. For us it’s being self-employed, spending hours and hours of time with our children, choosing what we want to do with our time and helping others achieve the same.

At It Works! we partner with you in your success – whatever your definition may be.  For some, it’s loving what you do, representing a company that you respect and products that you love. For others it’s being able to put their families first.  Not missing that ball game or school party, actually scheduling work around family time.  Many love the opportunity to contribute financially – maybe taking that special vacation or buying that car you’ve been wanting so badly.

I am a personal believer in network marketing as a tool that can expand the dreams of men and women.  I have witnessed firsthand the incredible skills, confidence, and self-respect that come from building a successful networking business.  My father was a very accomplished entrepreneur in his first networking company, making over one million dollars, up to $60,000 in a single month. An Entrepreneur is one who realizes DETERMINATION is the key to success!

Never give up.  A key characteristic of an entrepreneur is “doing what we know we need to do in order to someday enjoy what we want to do.  Determination requires delayed gratification.  What do I mean by that?  I don’t mean that we can’t have fun, but what I do think is that a real entrepreneur and WINNER at life knows they must do the right think and then they will feel good.  On the other hand a winner wants to feel good with out doing the right thing.  I challenge you today to NEVER give up on yourself, on your dreams or desires.  It will take hard work, discipline and determination, but the result will be well worth any pain or discomfort and the product of who you are though it all will be someone you can be extremely proud of.

Nathan and I love the quote, “You have to Risk BIG to Win Big” because sometimes it takes everything you have to stay the course. but the gain is well worth the pain.  Again, NEVER GIVE UP on yourself, your dreams or desires.  When my 5 year old tells me about all he is going to do and BE I believe with everything in me that he will do just that!  Believe the same for yourself too!  You can do anything you put your mind to.  Just like the little engine said, “I think I can, I think I can” and you will!

A business for a Mompreneur

A business for Mom’s should allow for the kind of income and freedom of time to allow us to focus on Family activities and Business.

What has this Business allowed me?

I have someone that comes in 2 times per week to assist me with Laundry, cooking, grocery shopping and cleaning so I can focus on building my business and spend time with my children.  We have taken 2 Disney trips in the last 26 months, 7 Florida trips and 2 Australia trips as a family.

I can’t imagine this lifestyle ever working while Teaching and Coaching in the public school system.  One thing I didn’t want to do was work full time (in my case as a teacher getting paid to raise others’ children while someone other than ME raised mine!)  and miss out on our kids’ BEST years.  Because of It Works! I am a full time mommy, but my children also get their DAD full time too.  In the next month Nathan and I will break ground on our DREAM HOME… something we never could have accomplished on 2 teachers Salaries.  The list is endless.  I love to help other Mom’s like myself find something they can do along side their family and extra activities to bring in a significant supplemental income.  I believe it has to be a product for women/mom’s, a complete plan that supports women helping out other women and men looking to be full time parents, and offer people financial stability and improved health!  I absolutely love helping others to not only BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE, but be a Mommy who has more time to spend with their children and the finances necessary to do what we dream of doing!

Why are moms good at Home Based Businesses?  We are multi taskers, encouraging, motivating, kind, team builders and keep others focused.  We are motivated, driven and yet can relate to others problems, goals and dreams while being down to earth all at the same time.

If you have never worked in a home based business before but are interested in getting started keep in mind it’s like riding a bike!  You may fall a few times but GET BACK on and try again. Everyone needs help when starting out just like training wheels and I want to be there to be your support in building your home based business.

Learn how to work this business just like you learned your past jobs, having children, marriage, a new sport, etc.  I have been in this industry since 2006 and I still read books about network marketing, attend training seminars, and learn from all of you every day.  Personal Development is HUGE.

A mompreneur business life

I am sitting in an airport in LA getting ready to head for Sydney, Australia.  I am thrilled to be taking my 18 month old daughter along for the ride too!  This is her second trip to Australia in 14 months.  What a lucky girl.  When she was 2 months we traveled to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane! Over a 6 week period to build our home based business AND see the world!  That is what I love about Direct sales.  Direct Sales is an industry for moms.  It Works is a business for mompreneurs and dads alike.  If you want to spend more time with your children, have the financial freedom to take trips and provide luxuries, then a Home-based business is absolutely essential.  You can do it along side extra activities and the family routine!

A business for mom that allows you to be a mompreneur is something we can do from home, make our own hours, be flexible with our schedule and still create a lucrative income that allows for an amazing lifestyle!  I can’t say enough to other Mom’s of young children like myself who desire to stay home or supplement their household income that STOP LOOKING YOU HAVE FOUND THE Vehicle!    This week I will get to work once again with amazing men and women I met about 14 months ago on my first trip to Australia.  I pinch myself every time I call this “work!”  It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and MOST IMPORTANT it allows me the freedom to be a FULL time Mom!
